SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to pharmaceutics. Described is a pharmaceutical composition for local administration, containing a therapeutically effective amount of Spiro-oxindole compound having following formula:

In composition spiro-oxindole compound is present in concentration of 1 % wt/wt to 8 % wt/wt. Composition contains a solvent (PEG 400 or PEG 3350), agent enhancing penetration of (Transcutol® P, or oleic alcohol or isopropyl myristate), thickener (stearyl alcohol), an ointment base (PEG 400 or PEG 3350) and an antioxidant (butylated hydroxytoluene). Described is a method of treating, preventing or improving disease or condition mediated by sodium channels, involving administering said composition. Also described is a method of treating pain due to inhibition of ion current through potential-dependent sodium channels.
