SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the chemical and pharmaceutical industry. Disclosed is a method for quantifying aloenin in fresh krantz aloe leaves, consisting in producing an extraction from plant-based raw materials, followed by analysing by means of high-performance liquid chromatography, wherein aloenin is extracted with aqueous-alcoholic mixtures with an ethyl alcohol concentration in the range of 40-70% for 60 minutes using 50 ml of the extractant per 1 g of crushed raw materials; chromatographic separation is performed in the isocratic mode using a mixture of acetonitrile with a 1% acetic acid solution in water in a 25:75 ratio as a mobile phase; then calculating the aloenin content X as a percentage calculated for the absolutely dry matter.

EFFECT: increase in the reproducibility and reduction in the duration of the method for quantifying aloenin in krantz aloe leaves.
