FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to HF equipment. HF generator comprises a plurality of solid state switches, a plurality of horn-type waveguides and a cylindrical hollow conductor. Longitudinal axes of horn-type waveguides and of hollow conductor are each arranged in a z-direction. Each of horn-type waveguides has a first longitudinal end and a second longitudinal end. Hollow conductor has a third longitudinal end. In each of horn-type waveguides, a first cross-sectional area arranged in an x-y plane at first longitudinal end is smaller than a second cross-sectional area arranged in an x-y plane at second longitudinal end. Second longitudinal end of each horn-type waveguide is arranged at third longitudinal end of hollow conductor. Respective solid state switch is arranged at first longitudinal end of each horn-type waveguide in order to excite an electromagnetic oscillation in respective horn-type waveguide.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of power losses and occupied area by combining functions of radio-frequency power generation and direction by same device.
