FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to HF generator and comprises a solid-state switch, a horn-type waveguide with the first longitudinal end and the second longitudinal end extending in z-direction, and a cylindrical hollow conductor with the third longitudinal end to extending in z-direction. First cross-section area of the horn-type waveguide arranged in the x-y-plane at the first longitudinal end is less than the second cross section area of horn-type waveguide arranged in the x-y-plane at the second longitudinal end. Second longitudinal end of the horn-type waveguide is arranged at the third longitudinal end of the hollow conductor. Solid-state switch is arranged at the first longitudinal end of the horn-type waveguide to excite electromagnetic oscillation in the horn-type waveguide.
EFFECT: proposed device allows avoiding losses of power during transmission of HF power from the first point to the second, at the same time considerably reducing the device footprint area.
