SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to use of soluble in oil Mono-, di-or triglyceride at least one polybasic hydroxycarboxylic acid or derivative thereof, as an antiwear additive and/or a friction modifier in an anhydrous lubricant composition and/or in fuel composition, in which glyceride is a glyceride of at least one polybasic hydroxycarboxylic acid and at least one other carboxylic acid, which is a saturated, mono-unsaturated or polyunsaturated, branched or straight, monobasic carboxylic acid or polybasic carbonic acid with 4-22 carbon atoms, or derivative thereof. Present invention relates to anhydrous lubricating composition and to fuel composition for internal combustion engine.
EFFECT: technical result of this invention is obtaining compositions having improved anti-wear properties.
