SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fault finding system in exhaust gas cleaning device. Fault finding system of exhaust gas cleaning device consists of: catalyst with selective catalytic reduction of NOx, which is located in outlet channel of internal combustion engine and uses ammonia as reducing agent; feed module, which supplies ammonia or initial reagent of ammonia in exhaust gas, flowing in the catalyst with selective catalytic reduction of NOx in location upstream of catalyst with selective catalytic reduction of NOx; NOx sensor, which is located downstream of catalyst with selective catalytic reduction of NOx and determines NOx in exhaust gas. Fault finding system of exhaust gas cleaning device additionally contains: fault finding module, which detects faults of exhaust gas cleaning device based on the determined values of NOx sensor; computing module, which calculates difference of adsorbed amount at expected failure; module of limitation of fault findings, which limits the use of specified value of the sensor of NOx at determination of faults by the module of fault finding or prohibits finding faults itself by the module of fault finding, when difference of adsorbed amount at the expected failure, calculated by means of calculation module, exceeds predetermined value.

EFFECT: technical result of creation is increase of accuracy of fault detection.
