FIELD: metal processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antifriction materials based on iron for making friction assemblies operating in heavy duty conditions. Antifriction material according to version 1 contains 0.3÷1.5 wt% carbon, 1÷9 wt% nickel, 0.5÷2.5 wt% molybdenum, 10÷25 wt% copper, 0.5÷5.0 wt% calcium fluoride and balance is iron. Antifriction material according to version 2 contains 0.3÷1.5 wt% carbon, 1÷9 wt% nickel, 0.5÷2.5 wt% molybdenum, 10÷25 wt% copper, 0.6÷8.0 wt% mixture of calcium fluoride and manganese sulphide and balance is iron.
EFFECT: material has improved antifriction properties, provides continuous operation in dry friction conditions and high temperatures.
