SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a container for powder, intended for storage of toner, which is a powder, used by a device to form images, such as a printer, fax machine, copier or multifunctional peripheral device with multiple functions of a printer, fax machine and copier, as well as to an image forming apparatus, comprising such a container for powder. Group of inventions includes containers for powder and image forming apparatus. Container for powder, intended for powder, used for forming an image, and for connection to an image forming apparatus, includes: feeding nozzle for supply of powder, hole for receiving the powder of the feed nozzle, designed to receive the powder from the container for powder, gear of the main part of the apparatus intended to transfer driving force to the container for powder, and section for receiving the container, which includes a feeding nozzle and receives the container for powder, container for powder contains: hole, which is located on one end of the container for powder in longitudinal direction, a receiver of the nozzle, located about said hole and designed to receive the feed nozzle, conveyor to feed powder and a gear of the container, intended for driving of the conveyor by means of coupling with the gear of the main part of the apparatus, gear of the container should be engaged with the gear of the main part of the apparatus closer to the said hole, than the hole for receiving powder, in longitudinal direction, and the said hole should connect with the section for receiving the container.

EFFECT: technical result is improved functional characteristics of transfer of powder from the container for powder to the apparatus for filling the toner and reduction of load due to a driving force transmitted by the drive gear of the container.
