FIELD: package and storage.
SUBSTANCE: powder container contains the powder used to form the image and is intended to be attached to the image forming device. Image forming apparatus includes: a supply nozzle for supplying powder; powder receiving opening, which is provided on supply nozzle and receives powder from powder container; main gear drive gear for transmitting drive force to powder container; and container receiving section, which is arranged around supply nozzle and receives container for powder. Powder container includes: opening that is provided at one end of the powder container in the longitudinal direction; nozzle receiver that is located in said hole and receives a feed nozzle; rotary conveyor, which rotates to supply powder to powder receiving opening; and gear of container, which is provided near said opening and drives the conveyor by engaging the main body portion of the device. Gear wheel of the container is placed in such a way that it engages with the gear of the main part of the device at a position closer to the specified opening than the powder receiving opening, in the longitudinal direction. Said hole is to be jointed with container receiving section.
