FIELD: image forming devices.

SUBSTANCE: powder container contains the powder used to form the image and is intended to be attached to the image forming device. Imaging device includes: feed nozzle for feeding powder; powder receiving opening, which is provided at the feed nozzle and receives the powder from the powder container; gear of the main part of the device for transmitting drive force to the powder container; and a container receiving section that is positioned around the feed nozzle and receives the powder container. Powder container includes: opening that is provided at one end of the powder container in the longitudinal direction; nozzle receiver that is located in said hole and receives a feed nozzle; revolve conveyor that rotates to supply powder to the powder inlet; and the gear of the container, which is provided near the said opening and drives the conveyor by engaging with the gear of the main part of the device. Gear wheel of the container is placed in such a way that it engages with the gear of the main part of the device at a position closer to the specified opening than the powder receiving opening, in the longitudinal direction.

EFFECT: hole should be mated with the container receiving section.
