SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space atomic engineering, to the development of forecasting methods of efficiency of thermionic electrogenerated elements during their creation and ground testing. Forecasting method of efficiency of a thermionic electrogenerated element with a ventilate fuel element includes its installation as part of electrogenerated channel into reactor, control of thermal power of the fuel element of electrogenerated element with unchanged thermal power of the reactor, valuation of emitting shell and control of the gases activity of ventilate fuel element at the outlet of electrogenerated channel. In the process of monitoring activity and pressure of gases at the outlet from electrogenerated channel, maximum time of ostwald ripening of fuel material in the fuel element of electrogenerated element is determined.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of predicting efficiency of the fuel element ventilation system of high-temperature electrogenerated elements, improving accuracy and reliability of control process, reducing time of experimental development of thermionic electrogenerated elements.
