FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of oxygen-free methane combination into olefins, where: methane as a starting gas can be directly convert into olefins and aromatic compounds and hydrogen can be obtained; said catalysts are catalysts, in which elements-metals are alloyed in the frame of amorphous materials in molten state, made of Si, associated with one or more atoms of C, N and O; number of alloying metals in the alloyed frame of the catalysts is more than 0.001 wt%, but less than 10 wt% of total catalyst weight. Invention also relates to a catalyst.
EFFECT: use of the disclosed invention at conversion of 8-50 % methane enables obtaining selectivity with 30-90 % olefins and selectivity in 10~70 % aromatic compounds.
