FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for production of high-alloy steel in system for steel production with multiple production areas, including one electric arc furnace, bucket metallurgical furnace and vacuum degassing. Also disclosed is a method for steel casting of electric arc furnace or casting ladle into receiving vessel for melted metal; wherein to prevent ingress of non-metallic inclusions in end product granulated material is deflected from running block of casting ladle from receiving vessel by means of heat-resistant, burning deflectors directly before entry of casting jet into receiving reservoir.
EFFECT: invention enables to prevent limitation of metal flow rate due to formation of semi-solid plug, sealing pouring nozzle.
