FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: proposed are lactic acid bacteria strain Lactococcus lactis SBS-0001 (NITE BP-1107) and lactic acid bacteria strain Lactococcus lactis SBS-0002 (NITE BP-1108) for silage production. Said strains are able to suppress amylic fermentation in raw material for silage or a fermented fodder with low sugar content and without sufficient quality of fermentation at using standard lactic acid bacteria. Also proposed is a microbial additive for silage production, the preparation of which contains one of the specified strains and a strain of lactic acid bacteria Lactobacillus paracasei SBS-0003 (NITE BP-1109) having acid resistance. Said microbial additive is used in the method of producing silage involving addition of the microbial additive to raw material and fermentation of the raw material containing the microbial additive for silage production at the temperature from 5 to 30 °C during 1 week and more.
EFFECT: group of inventions allows to improve quality of silage fermentation.
