FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coatings which can be applied to substrates, which are intended for food and beverages. Coating compositions containing film-forming resin not based on bisphenol A and adhesion reinforcing resin. Coating compositions represent an alternative to epoxy resins, which also enables hardening without melamine-formaldehyde resin, opacity resistance, possibility of sterilization and can keep perishable beverages. In some embodiments coating compositions are used for coating substrates such as jars and packaging materials for storage of food and beverages. Substrates can be covered in composition adhesion reinforcing way by mixing epoxidized resin and solvent to produce a mixture. Addition of phosphoric acid compound into the produced mixture to form an ester of phosphoric acid. Addition of water for partial hydrolysis of ester of phosphoric acid and addition of catalyst to form adhesion reinforcing resin. Further mixing of adhesion reinforcing resin and film-forming resin not based on bisphenol A is performed to form coating compositions and application of coating composition to substrate.

EFFECT: invention provides safety requirements of food products, because coating do not contain bisphenol A or any other endocrine disruptor, provides opacity resistance, possibility of sterilization and storage of perishable beverages.
