SUBSTANCE: invention relates to x-ray equipment. Anode (30) is formed using carbon, such as carbon reinforced carbon composite or other ceramic substrate (50). Plastic refractory metal is applied electrolytically to ceramic substrate for layer (52) formation made of refractory metal carbide and layer (54) of plastic refractory metal at least at section (36) of focal way. Heavy refractory metal is applied by vacuum plasma spraying to the layer of plastic refractory metal to form metal layer (56) of heavy refractory metal applied by plasma spraying at least at the section of focal way.
EFFECT: increased strength and stability of anode.
