SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering and can be used in optical communication systems. Method includes the following steps, where: client signal is displayed on frame parallel transmission channels, wherein parallel transmission frame includes at least two channels; service signals for the channels of the parallel transmission frame are added after displaying for forming transmission channels of the parallel transmission frame, bit transmission rate in the transmission channels of the parallel transmission frame are fixed; and the transmission channels of the parallel transmission frame are modulated on one or more optical carriers in one optical-fibre cable, and the optical carrier is transfered after modulation. In compliance with this invention the structure of the parallel transmission frame is defined, the client signal, particularly, a multichannel client signal, is displayed on frame parallel transmission channels, and transmission channels are modulated on one or more optical carriers in one optical-fibre optical cable, which enables processing of client multichannel parallel signal for adaptation, bypassing existing processing process consisting in multiplexing, distribution and demultiplexing.
EFFECT: technical result is noise-immunity improvement.
