FIELD: materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to material science. Magnesium hydroxide is obtained. Produced particles of Mg (OH)2 have thickness from 10 nm to 0.2 µm and aspect ratio of not less than 10 measured by scanning electronic microscopy method. Surface of particles of magnesium hydroxide is processed by higher fatty acids, anionic surfactants, esters of phosphoric acid, binding substances or esters of polyatomic alcohols and fatty acids by mixing. Then, thr resin composition is obtained; it includes silicone rubber and magnesium hydroxide. Content of particles of Mg (OH)2 in the resin composition ranges from 20 to 300 weight parts per 100 weight parts of resin. Heat-conducting plates are formed from the resin composition.

EFFECT: invention increases heat conductivity of materials, particularly formed plates.
