FIELD: fat and oil industry.

SUBSTANCE: method of producing Gossipium hirsutum seeds oil (cotton, grade "AS-4") by supercritical fluid carbon dioxide extraction, wherein as starting material used is dried and milled cotton seeds, which is extracted in supercritical fluid extractor with carbon dioxide (fluid flow is 40 g/min) at temperature of 40-45 °C, pressure of 300-350 atm and time of 60-70 min. Composition of Gossipium hirsutum seeds oil (cotton, grade "AS-4"), is characterized by absence of toxic polyphenol-gossypol, as well as following fatty acid content: dodecanoic acid (C12:0) - 1.27, myristic acid (C14:0) - 0.93, palmitoleic acid (C16:1Δ9) - 0.65, palmitic acid (C16:0) - 26.48, linoleic acid (C18:2Δ9,12) - 43.36, oleic acid (C18:1Δ9) - 20.47, cis-octadecenoic acid (C18:1Δ6) - 1.24, stearic acid (C18:0) - 4.26, 7,10,13-eicosatrienoic acid (C20:3Δ7,10,13) - 0.49, arachidic acid (C20:0) - 0.85. Ratio of saturated fatty acids to content of saturated fatty acids makes 1.96, and acid number is 1.4 mg KOH.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain oil of improved quality without gossypol.
