FIELD: shipbuilding; chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a lubricant for two-stroke marine engine cylinders having base number value BN determined according to standard ASTM D-2896 greater than or equal to 15 potash milligrams per gram of lubricant, containing the following components: (a) one or more than one main oil lubricant for marine engines, (b) at least one detergent based on alkali or alkali-earth metals, which is a overbased due to salts representing metal carbonates, (c) at least one neutral detergent, (d) one or more than one oil-soluble alkoxylated aliphatic amine, having a value BN determined according to standard ASTM D-2896 from 100 to 600 mg of potash per g, where the percentage by weight of alkoxylated aliphatic amines in relation to total weight of the lubricant is selected so that the contribution to BN supported by each of these compounds, ranges from 2 to 8 milligrams potash per gram of lubricant, and where the contribution to total BN supported by salts, which are a metal carbonates makes 65 % of total values of BN said lubricant for cylinders, measured in accordance with ASTM D2896. Present invention relates to application of lubricant (versions) and to concentrate of additives for producing lubricant.
EFFECT: obtaining a lubricant for cylinders, having improved anti-wear properties and thermal characteristics, at that, limiting formation of deposits in the process of application of low-sulphur oil fuel.
