FIELD: electronics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electronic engineering and can be used in electron-beam devices with autoelectronic emission, namely: in the probe devices, screens, raster electron microscopes, as well as in research and analytical units. In small-size autoemissive electronic gun, containing a field emission cathode (1) made of nanostructured carbon material enclosed in dielectric casing (2), including first part (3) and second part (4), modulator and contact electrode (6), a modulator is in form of first shell (7), which is tightly fitted on first part (3) of dielectric cover (2), at that free part (8) of first shell (7) and first free end (9) of field radiating cathode (1) protrude above first end (10) of first part (3) of dielectric cover (2), as contact electrode (6) second shell (11) connected to second part (4) of dielectric cover (2) is used and having electric contact with field radiating cathode (1).
EFFECT: technical effect consists in improved reliability and longer life.
