FIELD: radio engineering and communications.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of technology of transmission of the discrete messages and it can be used for construction of automated systems and systems of double-sided adaptive HF waves radio communication. In the above method of transmitting the discrete messages with multi-parameter adaptation assessment of signal/noise ratio at the current operating frequency during data transfer is formed by the radio modem, it is transmitted to the radio-frequency line controller, managed the operating mode of linear FM probing equipment, obtaining information from it of the current signal/noise ratio at all frequencies selected for communication session, except of the used by the radio modem, then the commands for adaptation are transmitted and received using transmitting and receiving agents of linear FM probing equipment of each correspondent.

EFFECT: technical result is considerable reduction of duration of the communication session, achieved due to reduced time for establishment of a contact, and due to reduced time of transmitting a message.
