METHOD OF MULTIPARAMETER ADAPTATION Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC H04B7/22

Abstract RU 2643237 C2

FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: in the method of multiparameter adaptation, based on the procedure of communication establishment, transmission of test sequences in the selected time intervals in each radio link direction as in the process of communication, and in periods free from the transmission of messages, channel status assessment in each radio link direction, finding the values of the adaptable radio link parameters, ensuring message transmission with sufficient (or best) quality, transmission of values of selected parameters to its correspondent, exchange of information messages in each of the radio link direction. Linear frequency modulation signals are used as route sounding signals, prepared correspondence tables are calculated in advance for each rate of information transmission using simulation model of transmitting and receiving sides of the communication system. To determine the optimal (in terms of maximum bandwidth) adjusted radio link parameters after establishing the communication a sounding session is performed, during which route sounding signals are transmitted and analyzed at the input. Based on the results of their reception, the channel scattering function is calculated and the values of the frequency and time scattering, existing at the moment in the channel, are determined. The signal-to-noise ratio, existing in the channel, is also determined. Based on the received values of the channel parameters, using the previously calculated correspondence table, the values of the adaptable radio link parameters are found.

EFFECT: increase in the accuracy and efficiency of determining the required values of the adjusted parameters of the radio link and increasing the capacity provided by the adaptive communication system.
