FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. Disclosed is a beverage containing a sweetener composition. Sweetener composition contains Reb X and other compound. Said compound is selected from Reb A, Reb B, Reb D, glycosylated steviol glycosides, mogroside V, erythrite and combinations thereof. Concentration of Reb X is about 50 ppm to 600 ppm. Reb X is present in an amount effective to provide an equivalent of saccharose of more than about 10 % (weight/volume).
EFFECT: invention enables to produce a beverage containing natural sweeteners with reduced caloric content or non-caloric sweeteners, which provide temporal and taste profiles similar to profile of sucrose.
