METHOD OF DETERMINING PRESSURE FORCE "MUSCLE BRIDGE" ON TUNNELED CORONARY ARTERY SEGMENT Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC A61B5/00

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly to cardiovascular surgery. Upon observing “muscular bridge” on coronary angiogram in a distal section of artery at catheter, coronary conductor is made. In place of compression of tunneled segment along guide is brought into cylinder for balloon angioplasty, diameter of which is 20 % larger than diameter of artery. Then balloon is connected to 3-way tap. One port of balloon via high-pressure line is connected to monitor of invasive pressure via other port of balloon is inflated using a syringe-medflator to diameter of artery. At moment of systolic artery compression pressure “muscular bridge” on tunneled segment is determined on monitor in mm Hg.

EFFECT: method provides higher accuracy of procedure due to determination of pressure force "muscle bridge" on tunneled segment of artery.
