FIELD: electrochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrochemical processing and can be used in electrolytic cutting tools. Device has power supply, first cathode arranged to form first clearance between it and first side of workpiece for flow of electrolyte, second cathode arranged to make second clearance between it and second side of workpiece for flow of electrolyte. First and second cathodes are located opposite to each other. Device is also configured to feed electrolyte in direction towards first gap and then from it and in direction towards second gap and then from it.
EFFECT: power supply provides current flow through first and second gaps to cause electrolytic dissolution in workpiece both from first side, and second side.
