FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: method of producing biologically active substance from the Black Sea mussels Mytilus galloprovincialis Lam. relates to production of biologically active additives enriched with testosterone from marine hydrobionts, which can be used as a means for maintenance of human general physiological status and reproductive activity conditions. Method includes preparation of raw materials, successive treatment with extracting agent, infusing and filtration. Wherein pre-assembled gonads, sexual products (eggs and sperms) are twice treated with 95 % ethanol in ratio 1:5 (stock: ethyl alcohol), infused 1 day at room temperature 20 °C±2 °C, and extract is separated. Then combined extract is infused for 24 hours and filtered.
EFFECT: invention enables extraction of biologically active components, in particular, testosterone of gonads and/or sex products of hydrobionts.
