SUBSTANCE: paired connection of grinding rollers comprises two grinding rollers, at least one of which comprises, at least one sensor jointly rotating in operation with the grinding roll. At that, the sensor is in network connection for transmitting data with at least one data transmitter. The rotating data transmitter is provided at a data receiver and located on or in the same grinding roll. The measuring device is arranged with the possibility of being installed in a receiving opening of said grinding roll housing and has one mounting board and, at least one of the jointly rotating sensors. The plant for processing the product contains at least one said paired connection of the grinding rollers. The method for plant operation comprises a stage, in which the measurement results transmitted by the data receiver are received by jointly rotating transmitter of at least one of the grinding rollers. The method of retrofitting and/or mounting of at least one grinding roll housing comprises a stage, in which said measuring device is mounted in the receiving opening in the housing of said grinding roller, so that a paired connection of said grinding rollers is formed.
EFFECT: increased safety of the grinding process.
