SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysics and can be used for research of joints in the process of hydraulic fracturing. Proposed are system, method and software used to calculate stratigraphic parameters of joints in the subsurface region. In some aspects, obtained is data on microseismic events associated with hydraulic fracturing in the subsurface region, wherein the underground area contains multiple subsurface layers. To select a subset of data on microseismic events, which correspond to joints in a specific subsurface layer, a filter is used. Based on the planes of joints, associated with the selected subset of data on microseismic events, stratigraphy data on joints is obtained for a specific subsurface layer.
EFFECT: high accuracy and reliability of information about stratigraphic joints of hydraulic fracturing.
