SUBSTANCE: fixing device includes the following: a rotating element, which includes an electro-conductive layer; a coil, which has a spiral section and is located inside the rotating element; a core located in spiral-shaped section; at that, magnetic resistance of the core on the area from one end to the other end of the maximum area of passage of image on recording material relative to direction of the generatrix is less or equal to 30 % of the combined magnetic resistance, consisting of magnetic resistance of electro-conductive layer and magnetic resistance between the electro-conductive layer and the core.

EFFECT: ensuring of a possibility of heating with high efficiency of electro-conductive layer.
