FIELD: tobacco industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cigarette, which comprises a tobacco core, an aerosol generating system, including fuel segment located at end for ignition and comprising a heat source, and insulating layer of fire-resistant material, located around heat source; and aerosol generation segment comprising a substrate of tobacco granules and aerosol-formin material, wherein substrate is located inside cavity for substrate, bounded by fuel segment and tobacco rod, so that substrate of tobacco granules is in contact with fuel segment on one side of cavity for substrate and is in contact with tobacco rod on other side of cavity for substrate; wrapping material, bounding at least part of fuel segment, aerosol-generating segment and at least part of tobacco core; and wherein wrapping material comprises a strip of foil encircling in circumferential direction at least longitudinal section of cavity for substrate extending along said section in lengthwise direction and partially covering at least longitudinal portion of fuel segment.

EFFECT: technical result is providing smoking without delivery of considerable amounts of products of incomplete combustion and pyrolysis.
