FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in heavily loaded tooth gears subjected to impact loads. Gear wheel comprises a body, a toothed rim with teeth of height and a pair of flat ring pads of width a secured on the teeth ends. Pads sections adjacent to the teeth ends and fixed on them are shifted radially relative to the teeth vertices towards the wheel center. Sections of the pads located between adjacent teeth have the outer profile curvature larger than the curvature of the circle, in which the outer sides of the pads sections fixed on the teeth ends are fit. Curvature of the outer profile of the plates sections arranged between adjacent teeth is equidistant to the curvature of their outer profile.
EFFECT: provided is higher reliability of the gear wheel.
