FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: gear wheel has a body and a gear rim consisting of separate teeth which are not connected to each other and the wheel body and mounted pivotally for turning in the wheel rotation plane between a pair of circular linings fixed on the wheel body. The profiles of the teeth working surfaces are identical to the designed one for the teeth of said wheel. The half of each tooth root located on the side of the tooth surface is adjacent to the wheel body at the tooth radial location. The second half of the tooth root is truncated in height, in the wheel body under said halves there are complementary cutouts which are identical in size to said halves. There are elastic gaskets between said halves and the bottom of the cutouts. A portion of each tooth body on its non-working side surface extending under the impact load behind at its radial arrangement is cut by the plane perpendicular to the tooth sides.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the gear wheel operation.
