SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry, specifically to a method for cooking potatoes. Method for cooking fried potatoes with lard involves cutting lard, meat and potatoes into cubes, frying potatoes and lard. Eggplants that have been fried and cut into cubes are added to the potatoes. Cooked meat is used for frying. Following products can also be added to the ready potatoes: cut and fried mushrooms, fried onions, red or black pepper, thyme, chopped spring onions and dill. Potatoes can be roasted in a frying pan with a cover or without a cover.
EFFECT: potatoes have original taste and can be quickly prepared.
