FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry, more specifically to cooking baked potatoes. Method for cooking baked potatoes in foil involves sorting and calibrating potatoes according to their size and weight that should be 250-300 g; it is followed by washing potatoes, wrapping them in foil and baking in the oven at the temperature of 250-280 °C. Prior to wrapping potatoes in foil, punctures should be made in potatoes using a syringe filled with olive or sunflower oil. Prepared potatoes are cut into two parts and sprinkled with spices, salt, dill, parsley. Grated cheese can be added to baked potatoes, as well as finely chopped and fried mushrooms, fried meat pieces, finely chopped fresh vegetables or sour cream.
EFFECT: invention allows to improve taste of baked potatoes while preserving their useful properties, as well as to enhance the caloric content of the ready product.
