FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to safe feeding of cefuroxime dose for in-chamber introduction immediately after cataract removal or other ophthalmic surgery. System comprises: (a) pierced sterile test tube, sterilely filled with measured amount of cefuroxime, (b) container with 0.1 ml of sterile isotonic saline solution per 1 mg of cefuroxime in pierced test tube, (c) mean for feeding isotonic saline solution to pierced test tube and for removal of aliquots of cefuroxime dissolved in isotonic saline solution in concentration of 10 mg/ml from pierced test tube, and (d) one or more sterilized feed syringes with covered Luer connector part. Wherein each feed syringe can contain at least 0.1 ml of injected fluid and has marking, indicating filling volume of 0.1 ml of injected fluid. Methods of using said system, including steps of preparation of safe feed of selected cefuroxime dose for in-chamber introduction are also proposed.
EFFECT: invention provides fast preparation of dose of preparation with exclusion of dosing error and violation of sterility.
