FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Essence of inventions consists in fact that creating instructing map for use when placing one spectroscopic voxel in area of interest, in single-nucleus magnetic resonance spectroscopy. An image of the area of interest for anatomical planning is obtained by MRI. Spectroscopic voxel is moved step-by-step over a region of interest, magnetic field characteristics used in MRI are measured at each visualization voxel location and using the measurements, extracting an instructive FWHM map reflecting homogeneity/non-uniformity of magnetic field over the area of interest.

EFFECT: technical result is improved quality of the obtained image.
