SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a receiving device and an information processing system to execute application programs executed in interrelation with AV content such as digital television program. Disclosed is a receiver which receives AV content; extracts information of the trigger to ensure operation of the application program, that is transmitted along with AV content and in interrelation with AV content; gets the table for actuation of trigger information in accordance with instructions to control operation of the application program; based on the obtained table correspondence determined commands associated with the retrieved trigger; and controls operation of the application program in response to certain commands.
EFFECT: technical result is provision of applications, which will be executed in interrelation with AV content, such as digital television program.
