SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of television broadcasting, in particular to a device providing information for increasing the compactness of the initiator object (the trigger). A method is proposed for processing one or more initiating objects associated with audio / video content by a receiving device, comprising the following steps: the audio / video content and the first initiator object associated with the received audio / video content are received by the receiving device; the receiving device extracts the parameter table of initiator objects (TRT) associated with said audio / video content from the TRT server identified in the received first initiator object. The parameter table of initiator objects identifies at least one event associated with the audio / video content, and determines for each of said at least one event the parameter used to perform a process and related to the corresponding event.

EFFECT: invention provides reduction in the number of additional data provided together with television broadcasting, or obtaining additional data from another source.
