SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rechargeable lithium battery, particularly, to storage battery, wherein anode is metal lithium. Battery service extension life device includes electrode with metal part, wherein said metal part is selected from group, comprising lithium, calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium and combinations thereof, electrolyte-permeable membrane and seed material for metal dendrites growth made in form of functionalized nano carbon particles layer, sticked to anode facing insulating barrier element side located between electrode and membrane. Electrode, membrane and seed material for metal dendrites growth are arranged in electrolyte matrix. At least one dendrite extends from electrode to electrolyte-permeable membrane, combined with at least one dendrite extending from dendrites growth seeding material.

EFFECT: reduced formation of lithium dendrites during metal lithium storage batteries charging and discharging processes, simultaneously with preservation of cyclic resource, ion conductivity, stable voltage and specific capacity.
