FIELD: radio engineering and communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and radio electronics and can be used for absorption of electromagnetic radiation at the output of microwave waveguide channel, as well as to enter the complex of high-frequency functional units and devices. Waveguide matched load includes the first and the second main dielectric layers relative to direction of propagation of electromagnetic wave located in the short-circuited waveguide section and the metal layer with nanometer thickness located between them, at that, the planes of the layers are oriented perpendicular to direction of propagation of electromagnetic wave, herewith, waveguide matched load according to the invention includes an additional dielectric layer placed afore the first main dielectric layer and having relative permittivity value is less than value of relative dielectric permeability of the first main dielectric layer, besides, it comprises at least one matching dielectric layer placed between the additional dielectric layer and the first main dielectric layer and/or between the metal layer and the second main dielectric layer, at that, the value of relative permittivity of matching dielectric layers is less than the value of dielectric permeability of the first main dielectric layer, and it increases towards the metal layer, while the value of relative permittivity of matching dielectric layers arranged between the metal layer and the second main dielectric layer is less than the value of dielectric permeability of the second main dielectric layer, and it increases towards the metal layer.
EFFECT: invention enables to design of a wideband waveguide load for absorbing microwave radiation with expanded working range of frequencies, technologically simple in manufacture and with small longitudinal dimensions.
