FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a multicomponent oxide catalyst, which is used for vapour-phase catalytic oxidation reaction or catalytic vapour-phase ammoxidation of propane or isobutane. Said catalyst contains a multicomponent oxide, composition of which has following formula (1): Mo1VaSbbNbcWdZeOn (1), wherein component Z is Ce; a, b, c, d, e and n represent atomic ratio of elements; and 0.1≤a≤0.195, 0.15≤b≤0.5, 0.01≤c≤0.5, 0<d≤0.4, 0<e≤0.2 and 0.60<a/b<0.85. Invention also discloses a method of producing a multicomponent oxide catalyst and method of producing unsaturated nitrile.

EFFECT: multicomponent oxide catalyst can inhibit formation of CO2 and CO and increases output of unsaturated nitrile during introduction of propane or isobutane in vapour-phase catalytic ammoxidation.
