FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the lighting device with regulated brightness control combined with a light sensor at the first level of the room and illumination of the second level of the room. Result is achieved due to the fact that the lighting device with regulated brightness control combined with a light sensor at the first level of the room and illumination of the second level of the room output parameters are defined which show ratio between the quantity of light emitted by the lighting device and illumination value of the lighting device at the second level which is obtained from the quantity of emitted light and repeated determination of the value of external illumination at the second level, wherein the value of external illumination is illumination from light sources other than the illumination device, by means of values of currently emitted light, output parameter and information on the light received from the light sensor; and brightness reduction control of the lighting device based on the value of external illumination, to meet the specified condition of full illumination at the second level.
EFFECT: technical result is energy saving by light power level control of lighting devices in a room.
