SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an article, which contains a packing container or its part, having a metal base; a coating composition located on at least part of the base, herewith the coating composition contains a polyether polymer, which contains at least 25 wt% of aryl or heteroaryl groups and is essentially free from related bisphenol monomer or its diepoxide and contains one or more segments of formula (II) given below: (II), where H denotes a hydrogen atom, if present, each R¹, if present, is independently selected from an organic group, a sulphur-containing group or a nitrogen-containing group with the atomic mass of at least 15 Da, v is from 0 to 4, and where two or more groups of R¹ can joint to form one or more cyclic groups. Invention also relates to a method of production of such containers for food products or beverages.
