FIELD: mechanisms.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to designs of units of bidirectional mechanical converting, used, in particular, in a manual tool. Unit comprises a main shaft, which including a driving means and a reversing means which are coupled to each other, and a rotation means for inputting torque, an rotation axis of the rotation means being coaxial with the main shaft and coupled with the driving mechanism. Device drive is made with possibility of delivering torque at output of the main shaft at a predetermined direction, wherein the predetermined direction can be switched via the reversing means. Driving element is mounted on the reversing means and comprises two driving elements mounted on the main shaft, and transmission structure, coupling these two driving elements and providing their rotation in opposite directions. Wherein the two driving elements are spaced apart axially. Reversing means includes the one-way clutches so that the main shaft is entrained with one of the two driving elements which is rotating in the same direction. Main shaft is overrun by the other driving element which is rotating in the opposite direction.
EFFECT: technical result consists in simplification of the switching direction of rotation of the main shaft.
