FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to grey structural cast irons for cast structural antifriction articles with improved mechanical and operational properties. Grey bearing cast iron contains, wt%: carbon 3.5-3.8; silicon 1.8-2.4; manganese 0.8-1.1;phosphorus 0.1-0.2; sulphur 0.02-0.12; chrome 0.04-0.16; nickel 0.15-0.35; copper 0.14-0.28; titanium 0.03-0.08; cobalt 0.12-0.65; barium 0.05-0.08 and iron- balance.
EFFECT: technical result is high crack resistance, mechanical and anti-friction properties of cast iron in cast articles, in particular tensile strength of cast iron at bending is 462-485 MPa.
