FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in oil, car, aircraft, machine building industries. Using device density, dynamic and kinematic viscosity of liquid are determined. Dynamic viscosity is determined by time of set of certain volume of analyzed liquid, supplied under impact of constant negative pressure created by compressor via tube with known dimension characteristics. Kinematic viscosity is determined by time of outflow of the volume of liquid via same tube by gravity without creation of negative pressure. Density is found from ratio of dynamic viscosity to kinematic viscosity.
EFFECT: technical result is simplification and automation of determination of viscosity and density of liquid.
