FIELD: photography.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to digital photography for medical purposes, in particular, such as a biological tissue in near infrared region. Result is achieved by continuous illumination of observed area 17 with radiation 1 in range of 400…470 nm and radiation 2 in range of 810…900 nm. Light reflected from surface of turbid medium passes through an optical system, consisting of dichroic light filter 3 and lens 4, and is detected by colour television camera 5, which converts it into R, G and B signals, after which channel B signal in low-pass filtering unit 8 is subjected to low-pass filtering and in signal conversion unit 9 is subtracted from signals of channels R and G, obtained differences in accumulation unit 10 are processed, increasing signal/noise ratio, in contrasting unit 11 contrast is increased and transmitted to image display device 7 in following order: to channel B difference R-B, to channel G - difference G-B, to channel R - difference R-B.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increase of contrast sensitivity and signal/noise ratio of video system for monitoring low-contrast objects in turbid medium, simplifying device for generating a television image in turbid media with scattering prevailing over absorption.
