FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, specifically to intermittent catheters to empty bladder. Set of intermittent urinary catheter assembly and a package comprises an intermittent urinary catheter and a catheter package for arrangement of intermittent urinary catheter. Intermittent urinary catheter comprises a catheter tube having a proximal end and a distal end, where proximal end comprises a catheter tip and distal end comprises a catheter connector. Catheter package is of a general elongate shape having a proximal end and a distal end and is made of a tubular material. Catheter package comprises a cavity for accommodating at least insertable part of catheter tube. Catheter package is provided with an opening arranged in a predefined area in a side wall of tubular material for allowing extraction of catheter from package. Opening in predefined area is a rupture line along contour of a predefined region.

EFFECT: invention enables a user to extract catheter without spilling stored content, it also provides predetermined opening as package can open only in said place.
