FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to urinary catheters applicable as a urinary bladder emptying aid for individuals with reduced or lost bladder control. A urinary catheter kit comprises a catheter containing accommodating a storage space designed for catheter storage, and a urinary catheter. The urinary catheter comprises a near end with a tip and a flared far end. The tip is configured insertable through the user's urethra and further into the urinary bladder, whereas the flared end is connected to a tube for urine diversion from the catheter. The storage space is tube-shaped and has inner projections limiting a smallest diameter of the storage space within the projections. The storage space is spiral-shaped. The flared end has the greatest diameter of the catheter exceeding the diameter of an insertable part of the catheter. The greatest diameter of the catheter exceeds the smallest diameter of the storage space. The container has a cavity at its outside perimeter. The spiral-shaped storage space ends in the cavity formed at the outside perimeter. The cavity is configured to enclose the flared end to prevent the container from being removed completely from the container and getting into the container when inserted. An outlet has a passage connecting the outlet and cavity. The outlet is used to enable the urine outflow.
EFFECT: invention is characterised by compactness and mobility.
